I’ve been a chai fan for ever and I thought I had found a chai I really liked a few years back. I happened into a little cafe and ordered the chai. Omg. Is this house made, I asked? The flavors were so bold. The owner lit up and told me about her own search and kindly shared the name of Evergreen. I’ve tried all the flavors and I love them all but the Masala Chai is sooo good and sooo flavorful. And the heat punch is like a warm, spicy hug. It’s truly the best chai I’ve ever had ever.
I've been a chai lover for 25 years or so, and have probably tried over 50 different brands. On a visit to Austin, my son and I stopped in a coffee shop for a cold drink. I ordered an iced chai, and spent the next seven months looking forward to getting back to that shop for another one! This time, I got the name of the brand, went home and ordered some so that I can have it at home, any time I want. I love the sweet cinnamon flavor, hot or iced, with and without milk. It's got just the right amount of ginger/pepper zing, too! I'm so hooked!
